Planners of the City Hall complex in 1939 provided for park space as gathering place for citizens. This park is located across the side entrance of the municipal building overlooking Sampalok Lake. This is the only remaining park in the city as of today. The park was named Doña Leonila Park by Mayor Lauro Dizon to commemorate a visit of President Carlos P. Garcia and First lady Leonila Dimataga Garcia in 1961 to San Pablo.
