This is the home of Gregorio Agoncillo, impeccably painted in white with a prominent brass statue of his uncle Felipe Agoncillo, who was also born in this house, displayed in its front garden. An abundance of beautiful Edwardian and Spanish-inspired local furniture of the 1800’s and early 1900’s abound indoors.
Well-preserved chandeliers, statues, and an assortment of collectibles inside the display cabinets are interesting to note. His sister Maria Agoncillo became the second wife of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo. Gregorio married Mariquita Villavicencio, daughter of Gliceria Marella Villavicencio. The house is being maintained by the Villavicencio family, through the administration of the Gregorio Agoncillo Foundation, in memory of Gregorio’s daughter, Corazon.
