Enrique Hemedes Ancestral House

Enrique Hemedes Ancestral House is a Registered Property, City of Cabuyao, Laguna located at Cabuyao City, Laguna, Region IV-A.

Built in 1908 by Mr. Enrique Hemedes, a graduate of UP at Los BaƱos. The house is preserved except that the lower part of the house has been converted into commercial area. Once it served as a bakery later it became a workplace for the owners aluminium business. The garden has been converted into a restaurant called Mang Iking's.
The House served as the distribution center of the US Army's Philippine Civil Affairs Unit or PCAU for the victims of the II World War in Cabuyao. This was because when the Americans liberated the town, they made Mr. Enrique Hemedes the town's President equivalent to the Mayor.
The House was also the founding place of the Reserved Officers Legion of the Philippines. A Marker is installed in front of the House.
