The Echiverri ancestral house is one of the oldest houses south of the church, along the national highway, where the former camino real ran. It is a stilt-wooden house with capiz windows and ventanilla. Stilts have been modified to raise the house to keep up with the rising ground level due to road cementing, hence the visible cement posts jacking up the wooden part. Largely in a an advanced state of disrepair, the house is presently kept for its sentimental value. A portion of the house is used as a parlor of the descendant of owners.
