Gumaca Heritage District is a Registered Property, Municipality of Gumaca, Quezon located at Gumaca, Quezon, Region IV-A.
The waterfront Heritage Center is located strategically at the foreshore area of Brgy. San Diego Poblacion, Tabing Dagat and Buensuceso in front of a scenic view of the island municipality of Quezon covering an area of about 15 hectares.
It is accessible to any kind of transportation both land, water and air and about 100 meters away from the Central Business District. It is connected to Maharlika highway going to Bicol Region and Manila. Likewise it is linked to municipal roads and streets interconnected with the provincial road, barangay road as well as farm to market roads of all rural barangays.
A proposed project is composed of the Heritage District, Gumaca Central Park, Gumaca New Government Center, Gumaca Tourist and Business District, Processing Center and Fish Cosplay. Heritage District consists of Pavilions, Bulwagan, Spanish Commercial Building, Manpower Development Center and Parking area. Gumaca New Government Center, BPO building, Mall Banks and Commercial building.
Parks, playground, recreational facilities, monument, landmark will be constructed and established in the water front heritage development project as well as a mini forest and ecological park as counterpart by the Local Government Unit to encourage not only local and foreign visitors but also business investors.
Infrastructure facilities consist of tourist road, streets, thoroughfares, wastewater treatment, mini port and amenities will also rise in the area to make the site economically feasible, viable, functional, safe convenient and attractive not only to the constituents but also to the local and foreign tourist and to the investors as well. The proposed Tourism Road has a length of about 1.4 0 kilometers in front of the waterways and traversing Processing Center and Fish Post Cost play area.
Those projects shall have a component of green design, disaster resilient, climate change adaptive, gender responsive with Historical replication combine with balance and attractive landscaping.
