Nueva Ecija Old CapitolNueva Ecija Old Capitol is a Registered Property, Province of Nueva Ecija located at Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Region III.
The Old Capitol was constructed at Calle Burgos around 1912 when Cabanatuan regained the title of being the Provincial Capital which the town of San Isidro held from 1850. The Old Capitol Building located at Burgos Avenue, Cabanatuan still serves as an extension building for dispensing basic services. William E. Parsons, architect for the Old Capitol appointed consulting architect of the Bureau of Public Works. During that time, the insular government was under the supervision and governorship of William Howard Taft. The old concha windows of the Old Capitol have been replaced with glass and the left and ring wing has been added to the main building.
