Sa himpilang daang-bakal na ito ng Capas, ang mga bihag ng digmang kawal Pilipino at Amerikano na himalang nakaligtas sa makahayup na paglalakbay mula San Fernando, ay muling pinaglakad gayong mga nag-aagaw buhay, hanggang Kampo O’Donnell na may 6 kilometro ang layo. Sa impiyernong kulungang yaon, sila’y naging bilanggo.

At this railroad station of Capas, the Filipino and American prisoners of war who survived the horrendous trip from San Fernando, during which so many smothered to death in the densely crowded cars, were unloaded and force, although on the point of collapse to march the 6 kilometers to Camp O’Donnell, where they were concentrated.
