Epifanio De Los Santos Monument | Epifanio De Los Santos (1871-1928) Marker is a Marked Structure, NHCP; Registered Property, Province of Nueva Ecija located at San Isidro, Nueva Ecija, Region III.
He was appointed district attorney of San Isidro, Nueva Ecija. He was later elected as governor of Nueva Ecija in 1902 and 1904. His election victory made him the first democratically elected provincial governor and head of the Federal Party in Nueva Ecija. Being a member of the Philippine Commission, he was immediately considered as one of those Filipino intellectuals to represent the Saint Louis World's Fair in 1904. After his term as the governor, he was appointed provincial fiscal of Bulacan and Bataan provinces. He wrote a treatise on electoral fraud "Electoral Fraud and its Remedies" (Fraudes Electorales y Sus Remedios) in 1907 for the Philippine Assembly. On the side, he devoted his spare time to researches in Philippine history and literature. Portions of his collections where destroyed when fires hit his house in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija. According to Agoncillo and Palma, his interest lies not in politics. In 1918, he was appointed by Gov. Gen. Francis Burton Harrison as Assistant Technical Directr of the Philippine Census.
The last and most significant position De los Santos held was Director of the Philippine Library and Museum, to which he was appointed by Gov. Gen. Leonard Wood in 1925. He was also elected as third President of the Philippine Library Association (now Philippine Librarians Association, Inc.) becoming the first Filipino of native parentage to assume such position professionally for Philippine library science.
10 foot high statue of Epifanio Delos Santos in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija was made in recognition of his contributions to arts, culture and the country’s history.

Manunulat, manananggol, at bantog na pantas. Isinilang sa Malabon, Rizal, 7 Abril 1871. Nagtapos ng abogasya, Unibersidad ng Santo Tomas, 1898. Nagsulat para sa pahayagang La Independencia sa ilalim ni Hen. Antonio Luna, 1899. Nagsilbing abogado ng distrito, 1900, at kalihim panlalawigan ng Nueva Ecija, 1901. Nahalal na unang Pilipinong gobernador ng Nueva Ecija, 1902–1906. Naging piskal ng Bulacan at Bataan, 1906–1925 at direktor ng Pambansang Aklatan at Museo, 1925–1928. Ilan sa kanyang mga likha ay ang monograpiya ng mga bayani tulad ng Emilio Jacinto, 1910, Andres Bonifacio, 1917, at Aguinaldo y su tiempo, 1922; ang pagbabalangkas sa kulturang Pilipino sa Literatura tagala, 1909, at El teatro tagalo, 1911; at ang pagsalin sa wikang Espanyol ng Florante at Laura, 1916.
