Cruz, Municipality of Lubao, Province of Pampanga is registered with this office as a Cultural Property Category III in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 374 (R.A. 4846 as amended, the Cultural Properties Preservation and Protection Act of 1966) and R.A. 10066 otherwise known as the National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009.

This declaration of Apu Santo Cristo as Cultural Property Category III was through the initiative of the Honorable Mayor Mylyn Pineda Cayabyab in cooperation with Rev. Fr. Francis F. Dizon, Dr. Rodrigo M. Sicat and the Parish Pastoral Council Officers.
Let it also be known that this declaration was inspired by the people of Sta. Cruz and it is dedicated to the great town of Lubao, Pampanga and its constituents.
