According to Mr. Henry Viernes Jr. The house is already 100 years old (est.) originally owned by his grandfather Celestino Viernes husband of Timotea Viernes. The house has a restaurant before which is located at the ground floor where in, the two public buses – the “Palpallatoc” and “Maura” stopped there and the travellers eat at the restaurant and also take a rest because it took two days for them to travel from Cagayan Valley to Ilocos Region. In 1960’s the house was restored by Louie Torre the son-in-law of Celestino Viernes. And the year 2000’s they started to rent out the half part of ground floor until now.
