The lot where the chapel stands is used to be a vacant. They built a chapel for the San Roque image. The San Roque Statue is owned Mrs. Longina Taguinod and the image usually stays in their house. After the chapel was built, they transferred the image to the chapel so that it will become a religious place for the community . Now, the chapel stands still for the community.
