Sanchez Mira
Formerly a visita of Pamplona. Separated from its matrix through the initiative of the Principales of the place led by Hilario Pulido who petitioned the Spanish Authority on July 2, 1886. Became an independent municipality by authority of the Ministro de Ultramar dated September 14, 1892.
The installation of this marker was authorized by the National Historical Institute by virtue of its Board Resolution No. 2 dated 3 May 1994.
