The Two-storey ancestral house is located along the Highway; the vicinity was surrounded by trees, extensive grounds, and some ornamental plants. Observing outside of the house, the first flooris made up of cement and some partwas made up of galvanized iron, at the second floor is all made up of wood.
The main door of the house has been altered /concretized because it was ruined after a long period of time. The main door which is made of wood and was attached to the ground floor that serves as the initial entry of the house premise is located behind the house. Entering the house you can observethat there is only few furniture in the living room,only the bed and beside it is the chair, the antique hats and the photos that hanged in the right side of the corner. At the left side of the living room, where the dining room was placed, it has the antique wide table that was usually used for the weddings and the kitchen wares.
The position of the stairway is in the left side of the main double door, the second floor in the left side has two bedrooms. You can also notice the antique “lakasa” and “cabinet” at the master’s bedroom, the decorative features of the windows that some are made of shells.
According to the information gathered, Mr.Herminio Contillo owns the house. They bought it from Almazan Family who originally owns it since 19th Century. During World War II, the Japanese soldiers became friends with the Almazan family, until the soldiers hide out was in their house.
