The Ruins of Casa Real

The Ruins of Casa Real is a Registered Property, Municipality of San Pablo, Isabela located at San Pablo, Isabela, Region II.

In 1841, Dominican Fray Antonio Garcia built the casa real in Cabagan. It was a 20 x 30 square meters two-storey stone building. On one of its walls was the inscription: "Esta Casa Tribunal se con Cluio en año de 1846, Siendo Governad d' Juan de Guzman." In 1857, the Casa Real was burned and eventually repaired. The casa served as an important government center during the Spanish rule in the alcadia (province).
