This house is owned by Mr. Salvador P. Satorre, Sr., the Municipal Mayor of Buenavista when it became a town by virtue of Executive Order No. 65 dated November 19, 1936 during the time of President Manuel L. Quezon. Jorge P. Satorre is also a Mayor of Butuan, but after his term and after the issuance of the said Order, President Quezon appointed him as the first Municipal Mayor of Buenavista in 1937 and the first elected Municipal Mayor in 1938. Today, some Satorre family are living now on the said house.
