Japanese Cemetery

Japanese Cemetery is a Local Cultural Property - Cultural and Historical Landmark, Muntinlupa City; Registered Property, Muntinlupa City located at Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, National Capital Region.

This is a garden cemetery dedicated to the Japanese Soldiers who died in Muntinlupa. This is the burial place of imprisoned Japanese soldiers during the war and were executed. Legend has it that General Tomoyuki Yamashita, tagged as the "Tiger of Malaya," was buried in the same place. Japanese tourists drop by the cemetery to pay respect to their ancestors. A Filipino-Japanese Peace Monument is also located in this area.
