The house was originally located at Gilmore St., Barangay Mariana, New Manila, Quezon City within a 100-hectare property. This was once the weekend house of Manuel Luis Quezon and his family. More than 60% of materials used in this house came from the original house. The original house was first rented by Quezon in 1927 and was later bought.
