Thirty-five years ago, in 1983, St. Jerome Emiliani & Sta. Susana Parish was established, as a cradle of the Somascan Congregation in Asia. Now, two Provinces were erected from the small seed that was planted, and it grew as a mature tree and now as a vibrant and robust edifice with a good number of vocations, with young and energetic members of the Congregation: Southeast Asia Province in the Philippines with Indonesia and Vietnam; Province of India with Sri Lanka and Australia. The mission of St. Jerome Emiliani is ever more challenging and active with the signs of the times in this vast region in Asia.
