Bastion de San Andres or San Nicolas
Named after San Andres, the patron saint of Manila, chosen by the city soon after the victory over the attacking forces of Limahong in 1575. It is known also as Bastion San Nicolas, because of its proximity to the Recollect Church of San Nicolas de Tolentino.
