The Mabini Monument is a double life-size bust statue of Apolinario Mabini resting atop of an Obelisk which stands prominently at the center of Plaza Mabini. It was constructed and inaugurated on July 25, 1915 when the plaza was renamed in honor of the hero of the Philippine Revolution known as the Sublime Paralytic, a native son of the Province of Batangas. It features Inang Bayan seated in front of the Obelisk of Apolinario Mabini.
