Lubuagan Central School

Lubuagan Central School is a Registered Property, Municipality of Lubuagan, Kalinga located at Lubuagan, Kalinga, CAR.

The first public school in Kalinga Province was established with the opening of a primary school in 1910 followed by an elementary school in 1912 at Sitio Duya-as, Poblacion, Lubuagan. Such school, now the Lubuagan Central School, was transferred in 1915 at Pudpud after the completion of a 2-storey building to accommodate the elementary pupils and a dormitory to house learners coming from all over the Subprovince of Kalinga. It was the first school with a 2-storey Gabaldon-type but it was converted into a 1-storey Gabaldon-type in 1939. The school was blown down by typhoon in 1972, thus it was replaced by a Marcos-type building which exist until this present day.
