The Peace Memorial Shrine design serves as a reminder of the escalation of violence that was experienced in the past and the unflinching steadfastness to work for its total eradication.
The artistic design were made by these following people: It was conceptualized and designed by Bishop Prudencio P. Andaya Jr. CICM DD and Mr. Douglas Metzger of Sheridan, New York,USA. The edifice was constructed by the Flores brothers of Tuga. Further, the stainless steel was assembled by Mr. Gabriel Padilla, while the Dove of Peace was carved by Mr. Junie Velasco of Ifugao. Due to its artistic or aesthetic value, it became now a tourist attraction.
