the port It is about 50 meters long and 8 meters wide. It was constructed in the 18th century when the Compania de Tabacos de Filipinas inaugurated its trade line between Manila and Aparri.
This was the only port in northern Luzon so that all products from as far as Aparri were stored in a warehouse of the Compania de Tabacos before they were transported to Manila via Big Bancas called "Viray".
