Century Old Acacia Tree in Barangay Palacpalac, Victoria, Tarlac is one of the oldest acacia trees dating back in the 1800’s, which was included in the centennial calendar of Landbank of the Philippines. Its big and beautiful branches shaded and occupied almost the whole area of the plaza. According to old people of the Barangay, the century acacia tree is a two different trees that have combined together as it grows. Also according to old folks, there is a buried wealth under the tree. This Century Acacia Tree has survived after a lot of natural and man-made calamities throughout the centuries. As of today, the tree is being rehabilitated and maintained to keep intact its beauty and strength.
