Death March Marker (Barangay Silahis)

Death March Marker (Barangay Silahis) is a Registered Property, Province of Bataan located at Orani, Bataan, Region III.

The Japanese soldiers set up a temporary prisoner's camp in Kaparangan, Orani, Bataan on April 11, 1942, the second day of the infamous "Death March." To commemorate the pitiful event, the National Historical Institute (now National Historical Commission of the Philippines) constructed the bronze memorial at the corner of Barangay Silahis and the Bataan National Road in 1987.
