Erected on October 30, 1981, the Bust of Juan Cabreros Laya was made in honor of the son of San Manuel. Mr. Juan C. Laya, a writer and an educator. Ordinance No. 2017-05 is enacted “Declaring July 12 of every year as Juan Cabreros Laya Day in the Municipality of San Manuel, Pangasinan.”
