Barbacan River (Japanese and Filipino Guerillas Escrimist)

Barbacan River (Japanese and Filipino Guerillas Escrimist) is a Registered Property, Municipality of Roxas, Palawan located at Roxas, Palawan, Region IV-B.

A Spanish post was located at the hilly portion on the southern bank of Barbacan River which command a strategic view of the river and served as fortification against warring Moros and Chinese pirates. Years after, it was called “Vijobar” in honor of a Spanish general was
assigned to defend the place during the Philippine Revolution.
