The Nin Bay Mining Company had planted its seeds of progress in Palawan. The Company was born there in 1948 with the opening of its first silica plant the Barrio called Del Pilar which was later to become the present day municipality of Roxas. Through all these years, the Roxas Silica Plant has contributed its share, not only in the success of Nin Bay’s mining concerns, but also in the development of the town of Roxas.
