Binalonan Public Cemetery

Binalonan Public Cemetery is a Registered Property, Municipality of Binalonan, Pangasinan located at Binalonan, Pangasinan, Region I.

Jose Gonzales, a Dominican friar who wrote about the state of the churches in Pangasinan before the Second World War described the initially constructed Sto. Niño Church as a structure that was made of light materials with an extensive cemetery enclosed by a limestone wall.

In 1854-1855, Fr. Antonio Vinolas started the church’s re-construction, while Ruperto Alarcon laid the cement foundation. In 1861-1865, Fr. Juan Fernandez drafted the architectural structure of the church, wherein he bought a piece of the lot for the parish priest's residence and transferred the cemetery to the present day Bued Cemetery due to the new decree that prohibits the internment of the dead inside the church premises.

The cemetery was allegedly used as a World War Cemetery. Inside is an old chapel made of bricks where masses are being held. Inside is a tomb for “war veterans” dated 1898 A.D.
