The Municipal Park is significant because of the Narra tree that was planted by the former President Ramon Magsaysay when he visited the town of Tumauini after a strong typhoon struck the province of Isabela. The park also symbolizes the serenity and calmness of the Tumauinians, that despite many challenges they encounter, they can easily overcome it.
