Parish Church of Saint Lucy, Virgin and Martyr of CapalongaParish Church of Saint Lucy, Virgin and Martyr of Capalonga is a Registered Property, Province of Camarines Norte located at Capalonga, Camarines Norte, Region V.
The first church was dedicated to St. Lucy, Virgin and Martyr. Due to the increasing popularity of the devotion to the Black Nazarene enshrined in the parish 17th century church, the parish was placed under the tutelage of Jesus, the Nazarene by the end of the century. After existing as such for centuries, a change was effected during the incumbency of Bishop Celestino Enverga as Bishop of Daet and Fr. Alex Chavez as parish Priest of Capalonga in the year 1984. The Parish was officially placed under the patronage of Saint Lucy, Virgin and Martyr, and the church was subsequently declared as the shrine of Jesus, the Nazarene.
