Shrine of Century-Old Acacia Tree

Shrine of Century-Old Acacia Tree is a Registered Property, Municipality of Guinayangan, Quezon located at Guinayangan, Quezon, Region IV-A.

Contains the remains of a century old Acacia Tree. Nestor T. Baguinoon, Forest Ecologist of the University of the Philippines Los BaƱos, certified that the real age of the tree. An Acacia tree was planted in this location in 1855, strategically located at the center of the town proper, near the municipal building and the Catholic church. It stood approximately 50 meters high and extended about 20 meters wide. The tree fell down on September 2012 due to its old age and decaying roots.
