House of Consuelo Martinez Estacio and Vicente Estacio is a Registered Property, Municipality of Taal, Batangas located at Taal, Batangas, Region IV-A.
The house is popularly known as Casa Embroidery by the Estacios. The first generation of the Estacios started their embroidery business. They export their products to the US and UK.
Most of their family members live abroad. Some of the elderly and other members of the clan stay in the Philippines. The owner of the house and his children love to play chess. They even have a table decorated with a chessboard on top.
The current owner of the house is a former director of Taal Water District.
The house is a two-storey structure. The structure of the ground floor is made of adobe while the second level is made of wood. There is an embroidery shop on the ground floor. The second floor has a living room on the left and a dining area on the far right. The house has three bedrooms. Some parts of the house are made of narra and munlawin wood.The windows are made of wood and capiz. There is a staircase inside a bedroom that leads to the ground floor.
The ground floor used to be an open interior space. They later added divisions for the living room, dining area, kitchen and embroidery shop. They also added a bedroom on the ground floor. The roof flew off because of a typhoon and they replaced it with new ceiling and roof. The house has undergone its first renovation in 1975. They installed new flooring, ceiling and grills.
