Honesto Estacio House is a Registered Property, Municipality of Taal, Batangas located at Taal, Batangas, Region IV-A.
The house was originally owned by Consolacion Castillo who later married Dr. Noche. The house is more than 100 years old. Spouses Honesto Estacio and Ofelia Masonkay bought the house for Php 1.5 million in 1980s when they returned from the US. The family went to Chicago in 1978.
A religious organization used to rent the house to use as a place of worship. They rented the whole house when the family stayed in the US.
An American high official used to frequent the place. Rumor has it that a certain Dr. Noche was stabbed and killed there.
The ground floor was once used as the clinic of Dr. Noche.
The house is a two-storey structure. The walls on the ground floor is made of adobe. The ground floor used to be an open interior space and they put divisions later on. The structure of the second floor is mostly made of narra. Two bedrooms are unchanged. Varnish was applied on the door of the bedroom to maintain its good appearance. The canopy and framework of the house was preserved. The sahig or flooring is also well-maintained. The upward staircase is made of adobe.
