Puente de Alitao

Puente de Alitao is a National Cultural Treasure, National Museum (under Tayabas Historic Bridges); Local Cultural Property - Historical Stone Bridges of Tayabas; Registered Property, City of Tayabas, Quezon located at Tayabas City, Quezon, Region IV-A.

Created the first wood bridge in 1798 through the efforts of Don Jose Medio under Don Juan Lopez
In 1823, the second Alitao Bridge was constructed with the use of stones with four arches
Was finished on July 31, 1852.
Made from 10,000 adobe stones.

Declared as a National Cultural Treasure under the title "Spanish Colonial Bridges of Tayabas" and a Local Cultural Treasure under the City Government of Tayabas thru Ordinansa Blg. 17-18; connecting Muntingbayan to Poblacion.
