Bacoor Unida Evangelical Church in Barangay Banalo now adopts the name Evangelical Christian Church according to Pastor Jon Sabino on May 1901. The church is already more than 100 years in existence since it was founded in 1901 by Rev James B. Rodgers who visited Bacoor with two missionaries in May 1901. Tomas Filio was the first caretaker of Bacoor Unida Church with its original members: Lorenzo Javier, Juana Navarete, Julio Corpuz, Ignacio Javier, Bartolome Regino Samoy, Casimiro Samoy, Fausto Dominquez, Sixto Guinto, Gregorio David, and others. In June 1991, Bacoor Evangelical School was reopened under Ms. Nelia Sabino. On June 2000, Pastor Jon Sabino was sent to US Center for World Mission where he ordained Missionary Pastor. On March 25, 2001, the Church was dividded wherein some members attended meetings at Sineguelasan.
