Established in 1935, the organization originally operated as Surigao Consolidated Mining Co., Inc., focusing on mineral exploration, including gold and silver mining in the Philippines. Due to challenging market conditions and natural calamities, mining operations were suspended. In 1992, it rebranded to Suricon Resources Corporation and, following partnerships with the Ever-Gotesco Group, shifted its focus from mining to property development. The firm officially became Gotesco Land, Inc. in 1996, marking a pivotal transition towards real estate ventures, primarily concentrating on leisure and resort projects.

Currently, Gotesco Land, Inc. is engaged in various real estate activities including acquisition, development, and management of properties to generate revenue. The firm has successfully launched notable projects such as The Evercrest Cebu Golf Club and Resort, Inc., and The Chateau Royale Sports & Country Club, Inc. in Batangas. Additionally, it oversees three subsidiaries: Multi-Resources Holding Co., Inc., Nasugbu Resort, Inc., and Gulod Resort, Inc., enhancing its portfolio in the thriving Philippine property sector.
