Electronics documents are electronic plans and technical specifications for wired or wireless telecommunications systems such as PABX, broadcasting systems, including radio and TV broadcast equipment for commercial and training purposes, cable or wireless television systems, information technology (IT) systems or computer systems and networks, security and alarm systems, electronic fire alarm systems, sound-reinforcement systems, navigational aids and controls, indoor and outdoor signage, electronically-controlled conveyance systems, electronic/computerized process controls and automation systems, building automation, management and control systems, and other convergent fields.

The scope and nature of practice of the Professional Electronics Engineer embrace and consist of the above services and has authority to provide consulting services as defined in RA9292 and to sign and seal electronics plans, drawings, permit applications, specifications, reports and other technical documents prepared by himself/herself and/or under his direct supervision.
